Alfonso Soriano Hits #300

June 11, 2010

Friday, June 11, 2010 marks the day that Alfonso Soriano hit his 300th Homerun and his 9th of the 2010 season.  He shares this accomplishment with Derrek Lee who joined the 300 Club just two days ago.  He is tied for 125th on the all-time homers list and now one behind Rogers Hornsby.  However, he is 21th on the list of active players.  He is six away from catching Pudge Rodriguez on the active list and less than 20 from catching Berkman, Glaus and Carlos Lee.  Pretty good company. Congrats on this great milestone.

Carrie Muskat posted the following  list of his key homeruns:

Derreck Lee Hits #300

June 9, 2010

Wednesday, June 9, 2010 marks the day that Derrek Lee hits his 300th Homerun and his 7th of the 2010 season.  He is tied for 125th on the all-time homers list and now one behind Rogers Hornsby.  However, he is 20th on the list of active players.  He is six away from catching Pudge Rodriguez on the active list and less than 20 from catching Berkman, Glaus and Carlos Lee.  Pretty good company. Lee has had a slow start but could easily finish the season in the top 100 of MLB sluggers.  Congrats on this great milestone.
